SELF-GUIDED DIRECT CREMATION
(ONLINE PACKAGE)

starting at $1,275

This self-guided cremation package allows families to complete all arrangements online. It includes:

All arrangements completed online by the deceased’s family or representative.
Services of a licensed funeral director and staff.
Transfer of your loved one into our care within a 30-mile radius of our Mt. Pleasant location.
Crematory fee.
Safeway cremation container (minimum fiberboard option).
Transportation of the deceased to the crematory.
Temporary urn.
Care of remains at our facility for up to 72 hours after taking the deceased into our care.
Securing permission to cremate from the next of kin.
Securing the cause of death and obtaining the doctor’s signature on the death certificate.
Filing the death certificate with the county clerk in the county where the death occurred.
Securing the medical examiner’s signature on the cremation permit (fees vary by county).
Medical examiner fee.
Notification of death to the Social Security Administration.
Death notice posted on our website.

What This Package Does Not Include:

This package does not include visitation, rites, ceremonies, or third-party fees such as additional death certificates, or optional products.

Eligibility Requirements

All arrangements must be made online or over the phone.
Refrigeration fees will apply if family paperwork and payment are not received within 72 hours of the funeral home taking custody of the deceased.
